For Parents
Our Ocean Ave community has a shared belief that parents are vital partners in the work of educating our students.  Parents set the foundation for learning by promoting work habits including regular attendance and reading at least 20 minutes every night.

There are several ways to get involved at school.  Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is very active in supporting OAES classrooms and providing community for our families.  We also have a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) which meets once a month to provide input to school wide decisions.  In addition, we hold monthly Coffee Talks, where parents can come to hear about a topic in education and chat about anything with the principal. These meetings are open to every OAES parent.

Look at our monthly newsletter or our calendar, located on the Home page of this site, to find out when the next event is. And be sure to check out our Ocean Avenue School Facebook page, where you can find news, upcoming events, and pictures about the interesting goings-on at Ocean Ave. You can go ahead and LIKE us too!
