Improvisational theater can be funny, but it is also a creative, fun way to build confidence, practice mindfulness, get comfortable making mistakes, let go of control, build empathy, focus attention, pay attention to our emotions and on and on! We will spend our time playing games that involve movement, sound and dialogue, creating characters and scenes, laughing and tuning in. I believe that everyone needs improv. It teaches us to stay present in the moment, pay attention to what others have to offer and to say “yes!” No acting experience or skills required, just an interest in having fun!
