Student placement is a thoughtful process that begins in May and involves input from students, classroom teachers, other school staff, and administrators. Parents/guardians have the opportunity to give input by discussing placement with your child’s current teacher and providing written information on how your child learns best to the Principal, due by May 1st.  The placement team (which includes the child’s current teacher) considers academic progress, relationships, and developmental needs as key factors to create balanced classrooms at each grade level.
